Term 3 Timetable Sample Subjects

Certificate IV in Christian Ministry

  • Develop knowledge of principles for Christian moral character and behaviour and relate them to your own life for personal development. Identify scriptural concepts of wisdom to improve quality of life.

  • Apply scriptural principles with the goal to achieve financial prosperity.

  • Recognise the significance of the life of Christ and God’s covenant with man in the present day and apply this knowledge to yourself and others.

  • Develop knowledge of the spiritual growth process and relate concepts for spiritual development to one’s own life.

  • Develop knowledge of principles of Christian moral character and behaviour and relate them to one’s own life for personal development. This subject also identifies scriptural concepts of wisdom which when applied improve quality of life.

  • Develop skills and knowledge required for communicating a personal testimony to an audience.

  • Understand the person and work of the Holy Spirit and the application of His gifts, and develop sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Diploma of Christian Leadership and Ministry

  • Develop knowledge required to examine the foundation and development of the church and its commission to reach the world and to identify principles for growth for application to the present day church.

  • Develop the skills and knowledge required to foster a Biblical culture and develop personal vision and gifting to advance the kingdom of God in the earth.

  • Develop skills and knowledge required to pray for the sick applying the methods of Biblical healing.

  • Develop skills and knowledge required to develop knowledge of the authority structure of the church and to provide leadership in a church ministry setting.

  • Develop skills and knowledge required to prepare Biblical studies and to communicate in the areas of interpretation, preaching and apologetics.

  • Recognise the anointing of the Holy Spirit and develop sensitivity to the promptings and flow of the Holy Spirit.

  • Develop knowledge required to lead in team prayer applying Biblical principles. It also develops doctrinal truth concerning angelic and demonic beings in relation to prayer
