Term 2 Timetable Subjects

Certificate IV in Christian Ministry

  • Develop knowledge of principles for Christian moral character and behaviour and relate them to your own life for personal development. Identify scriptural concepts of wisdom to improve quality of life.

  • Understand the person and work of the Holy Spirit and the application of His gifts, and develop sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

  • Recognise the significance of the life of Christ and God’s covenant with man in the present day and apply this knowledge to yourself and others.

  • Develop knowledge of faith and apply the principles to your life.

  • Implement the Biblical principles of thanksgiving, praise, worship, and prayer.

  • Develop knowledge of basic Biblical doctrines including the concepts of the new birth and the right standing of all believers.

  • Understand the person and work of the Holy Spirit and the application of His gifts, and develop sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Diploma of Christian Leadership and Ministry

  • Develop knowledge of Biblical principles that promote quality relationships within the family

  • Develop knowledge required to contribute to Christian mission efforts with a focus on cross-cultural evangelism.

  • Develop knowledge of the authority structure of the church and to provide leadership in a church ministry setting.

  • Analyse the scriptures and identify applications from specific Old and New Testament books. Build a foundation and pattern for future study for one’s own life and for teaching and discipling others

  • Interpret the various prophetic scriptures on eschatology and place them in chronological sequence. It is designed to give a positive expectation for the future and so encourage a holy lifestyle.

  • Recognise the anointing of the Holy Spirit and develop sensitivity to the promptings and flow of the Holy Spirit.

  • Analyse the scriptures and identify applications from specific Old and New Testament books. It provides a foundation and pattern for future study for one’s own life and for teaching and discipling others
